Little piece of burgundy velvet

Hey! Today is the last day of summer, but autumn has been in my head for quite a while now and it somehow associates with burgundy color. That's why bare legs were the only sign of hot weather and holidays. The velvet dress I was wearing is actually the one I made half a year ago, but it's too open for casual looks, so I thought that it would look good with a cardigan or just something to cover up with. My final outfit turned out to be kind of "out of bed" with a twist of grunge.

Let's leave summer behind us, shall we? I don't know about you, but I can already see a bunch of things that I will have to deal with coming this autumn and my last year of school in general. Be positive and make adventures happen!

Hello, beautiful people! My computer wasn't working properly for a last week or two until it completely stopped, but now it's fixed, yay!

I had such a nice weekend in Latvia, so that's where these photos are from. This time I decided to play a little bit. I thought it would be fun to braid my hair to get that careless summer look for the next day and the result was a head full of little curls and waves. Speaking of non-obligating looks, the mixture of different patterns was an interesting choice. I love the idea of mixing patterns, but most of my clothes are basics, no flowers or other elaborate designs. I used to think that putting stripes ant tartan together is a bad idea. This combination was random, because my flannel shirt/cardigan kind of thing was the only warmer piece I took with me. None of us wants to get cold in the evening, right? In my opinion, the outfit looked heavy, but balanced and absolutely eye-catching. Sometimes it looks even better when you don't try to match clothes too much... Let me know what you think!

2015.07.23 part 2

This is the outfit I had on my mind for a long time. There were a couple of times when I wore this bodysuit with a pair of jeans, but I knew that it would look cute with my midi skirt. You have to agree that a midi skirt is already fancy enough. I just wanted to make the outfit more casual, so I thought that it's time for my white sneakers to do their job. And they did!

Do you still wear sneakers with all kinds of clothing pieces? I can't imagine spending the whole day on my feet and wearing something else.

It's hard to believe that two months of summer are already over. They were both very different. You saw what interesting happened in June, but I believe July is still a total mystery, so let me tell you a little about that.

The last month was full of new experiences and firsts. The most important one must be the job that I had. It was also the main reason of me being silent for almost a month... During that time I had to deal with rude people and orders which completely mismatched the rules that I have and my values, so I'm happy to be in my own room again. I still hope that I simply made the wrong choice and in the future things won't be like that again.

Looking on the bright side, there wasn't a day when I had to deal with the whole thing alone. Oh and my free time! 10 minutes of walking to reach the sea, nightlife, a great trail for roller skating, a beautiful park and a forest are the things I was able to enjoy. Now, let's jus talk about food. Those macarons were the best ones that I have eaten in Lithuania so far! Also, I couldn't find anyone to take pictures of my outfits, so I tried to capture some shots which are not related to fashion.

I hope you are having a great summer!
